Supporting Beyond DV since 2018
- Value & heart led living is not just a page on my website with a few statement words. I choose to live a life of passion and purpose and have always given back with multiple charities but from 2019 have worked consistently alongside BEYOND DV supporting their overall vision and becoming a BEYOND DV Ambassador.
- Using the expertise, knowledge & connections gained in my 25 year career in Strategic Media, Film, & TV Production, Education, Strategic Comms, Creative Branding, Business Mentoring I'm keen to support big picture vision of charities supporting women and children in our community.
- When COVID 19 hit, cancelling my UK/US Book & Speaking tour as well as decimating my in person speaking events and many of my strategic clients' businesses, I decided to use my values to redirect. I had already been volunteering with Beyond DV for a couple of years but in 2021 received a call to help their inspiring founder Carolyn Robinson create Social Enterprises, funded Training Programs & amplify their national profile.
- In the last 3 years, whilst grieving the sudden loss of my husband in 2022, I have found my work with Beyond DV on their podcast, public awareness events, app development and DV survivors workshops to be the perfect value and heart-led segue back into my strategic consultancy career. I continue to volunteer and provide 60 free book and style & mindset workshops for new DV survivors, every term. Now totalling hundreds of women.

HANNAH's SANCTUARY TRANSITIONAL HOUSING & SS4H
When Sally's husband died, an old friend in Sydney quietly set up a Gofundme which supported Sally & her children in those brutal early months.
When Hannah's Sanctuary was built in 2022 and Sally got involved through her work with the creators of the transitional housing complex Beyond DV, she saw a way to pass on the help she had received and support another family in need, albeit starting a new life after DV. Small Steps 4 Hannah came on board as a partner to provide a social worker for the complex and to furnish the 9 homes and reached out for sponsors.
Sally and her children decided to sponsor a home - in honour of Jason and to ensure the GOfundm e had a ripple effect and supported another woman and her children in their journey. Sally and the children created a book about Jason and theirr family story which they placed inside the home to welcome new families every 18 mths.
